Description
No matter whether the edgebands are
solid, veneered, or plastic – the 2-stage pressing concept and the rigid press
bed with complete visual checking ensures simple and fast edgebanding with
absolutely true angles and joins – almost like a through-feed machine.
This approach permits continuous working. The exact press base is maintained,
which is the basis for accurate and tight bonded joints.
The machine's design gives a free view on press bed and workpiece, so that the
gluing process can be monitored continuously, with the possibility of
corrections, if necessary.

No
instruction
The clamp & press units run along honed guide rails. They are fitted
with 7 maintenance-free bearings, enabling them to be positioned quickly,
precisely, and without any effort.
Every unit is individually controlled. The 2-stage concept permits final
corrections to the workpieces, because the 1st phase (clamping) precedes the
actual edge banding procedure (2nd phase) against the rigid press bed. A more
perfect, precise, and safer operation is hardly conceivable.
No installation
Simply unload the machine, place it on a flat floor, release the clamp & press units, and connect the pneumatic & electrical supplies. Finished.
No servicing
As the smooth-running bearings need no maintenance, they have a practically unlimited service life. Should a bearing need replacement after the 3-year guarantee period, this is done easily by means of a single socket set screw.

Equipment
The edge bander mobil 2500 is fitted with four (six on the mobil 3000) clamp & press units, each with separate clamping and pressing cylinders. The machine base consists of the rigid, 60 mm wide, heatable press bed. A large, finely adjustable counter stop ensures that every workpiece is positioned at a precise 90° angle to the press bed. This stop also determines the uniform edge projection.

Rugged, elegantly formed welded frame with precise, flat press bed (heatable 50-240°C) with 60 mm gluing width, plus integrated stop and guide rail for up to 30 mm edging thickness.
