duro

Description

The block bonding press duro has been designed for rough duty. Its welded frame is of correspondingly robust construction, so that the press is equally suitable for bonding panels, medium-sized blocks, and for lamination work. The four pressure beams, each fitted with a dual-acting hydraulic cylinder for pressures up to 35.000 N, provide the necessary force over the entire workpiece width. This also applies for self-locking profiles.
The hydraulic pressure cylinders have a stroke of 200 mm. This enables tongue & groove profiles to be glued in a single operation.
Operation is extremely simple, whereby a complete working cycle is controlled by means of just three push-buttons: "Press", "Stop", and "Release".
Working height and adaptation to workpiece size are easily adjustable via the indexing grid with hole spacing of 50 and 100 mm. This ensures optimum settings and ideal working conditions for the operator, regardless of the task. The workpiece clamp provides the necessary working safety.

No instruction
No previous knowledge is required for installing and operating the block bonding press duro. The machine only needs a connection to a power outlet, and is ready for operation via the three push-buttons and/or a group function.

No installation
The press is simply unloaded and put in the required place, where it is levelled out by means of the set-screws in the base. Insert the power plug into the socket (400 VAC). Finished. A compressed air connection is only necessary with pneumatically-operated clamps.

No servicing
The press is designed and built for practically wear-free operation. Should any of the working parts become damaged or need replacement after expiry of the guarantee period, proceed as follows:

  1. Smooth-running bearings
    of the pressure beams
Release the through-bolt and retainer, and exchange the bearing (occurrence: unlikely).
  2. Hydraulic pump
Disconnect power supply. Remove the two pressure lines, unmount the motor and replace (occurrence: unlikely).
  3. Hydraulic pressure cylinder
Should one of the pressure cylinders develop
a leak, unscrew the pressure connection and replace the cylinder (occurrence: very seldom, less than 1%).

In the unlikely event that a pressure cylinder needs replacement, you have two options:

  1. You order a new pressure cylinder.
  2. You return the defective cylinder to us,
and we will refund 50% on the purchase price of the new unit.

In both cases, shipment is within 24 hours, and according to your instructions.

Features
The block bonding press duro has a rugged construction. All working parts have been built for continuous, wear-free operation. Operation is extremely simple, with just three push-buttons. Working height and adaptation to workpiece size are easily adjustable via indexing holes for the hydraulic pressure cylinders and the guide rails. This ensures ideal working conditions for the operator. The pressure monitoring system is fully automatic and maintains the working pressure at the preset value. Operation can hardly be simpler.
